Meet Christy Pierce

Christy Pierce is an author, conference speaker, pastor and mom of three teenage kids. Christy’s new book, God is Whispering to You, was recently released on Amazon and Kindle. The book helps people experience God whispering to them in very real, practical ways about the things that matter to them. Christy's new book, shut up. (planned release September 2016) is for youth to help them understand how to silence the negative messages and enemy’s lies in Jesus’ name.

Christy’s ministry helps people experience God’s Presence through hearing the Lord’s voice, healing, spiritual warfare, prayer and intercession. Christy and her husband, Ben, planted New Hope Peninsula Church in the San Francisco Bay Area—targeting the least churched area of the United States. In the past 6 years, their family has encountered various trials including her husband’s near fatal bike accident and her daughter’s horse accident. Since then, their family has been through ongoing medical challenges. God has been showing them how His power shines even more through pain and brokenness. They feel compelled to pass on to others how to persevere in adversity and encounter God’s Presence and during seasons of suffering.

Christy has been a frequent speaker at the Hawaiian Islands Ministry Conferences. She also does conference speaking throughout the West Coast in mainline churches who want to learn more about hearing God in a way that makes sense to them. Christy and Ben are ordained Presbyterian pastors and were formerly on the Executive Staff of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church where they pastored a congregation of over 1,000 single adults. Before her ministry career, Christy worked for Senators Bob and Elizabeth Dole and for the Reagan and Bush Administrations. Christy and Ben have three children who are Christy’s most important ministry before all others:  Corey (15), Annie (13) and Benji (11). The Pierces live in Northern California with their two dogs, three cats and two goldfish.

Over the years I have been privileged to intersect with Christy Pierce and have been challenged by her commitment to listen and to respond to God. She has reminded me at key moments in my life that I am not just flesh and blood.
